Robin, the Cleaning Robot of B+N Has Been Contracted for the Cleaning of Several Thousand Square Metres

B+N Referencia Zrt. is responsible for cleaning services in the House of Hungarian Music built as part of the Liget Project and also in the Museum of Ethnography. B+N has the opportunity to send its proprietary autonomous cleaning robot on the march also in this representative, 21st century building, thus revolutionising the cleaning profession of the century. 

The beautiful, butterfly-inspired building of the House of Music opened in January 2022 was designed by Sou Fujimoto Architects, a company established by Sou Fujimoto, one of the most outstanding figures of the latest generation of contemporary Japanese architects.

As showcased by the shape of the building, the House of Music’s mission is to cultivate and present Hungarian and foreign folk music as well as the values of traditional, popular and classical music without limitations.

The cleaning robot called ROBIN cleans an area of 1,500 square metres every day, ensuring that the lobby, the great hall and the seasonal exhibition area will always shine with timeless elegance.

B+N’s cleaning robot is responsible for the cleaning of 5,100 square metres in the Museum of Ethnography

The new Museum of Ethnography opened in 2019 is one of Europe’s most significant specialised museums. The modern building resembling a double ski-jump ramp accommodates and presents 200,000 ethnographical objects, unique images, manuscripts, photos as well as folk and film recordings. Two ROBINs are busy in the building with covering a total area of 5,100 square metres.

We are planning to add some new robots to their ‘colleagues’ in the near future, causing surprise and excitement among the visitors who are happy to take funny selfies with them.
