The Hungarian company has taken over the Bulgarian Facility Management Firm i-Facility EOOD

B+N Referencia Zrt. has taken over the Bulgarian facility management company i-Facility EOOD. With this step, the firm has reinforced its already existing position as market leader in the Central European region.

This takeover is a logical evolution of the regional expansion the company has achieved so far. B+N Referencia Zrt. took over the business interests of the ISS Group in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Slovenia and Hungary in 2021 and the Inwemer System Group, a dominant player of the Polish FM sector in January 2022. B+N has 100% ownership in the companies taken over, just like in the Bulgarian firm being the subject of this acquisition.

B+N has become an unavoidable actor of the region

B+N Referencia Zrt. has been holding a steady position in the list of the TOP 500 Hungarian companies for years. Its customers include large companies and the prominent participants of the business sector as well as governmental organisations. It has an extremely extensive service portfolio: it offers technical operation and fit-out activities, cleaning and hygiene cleaning services, horticulture, document management and textile management services to its customers.

With this acquisition, the company offering its services in seven key countries of the region now covers an area of 15 million square metres with 20,000 employees.

Hewlett Packard, Heineken, SAP, BASF, Financial Times, Merck in the B+N client portfolio

The portfolio of i-Facility EOOD supplying the Bulgarian market includes technical operation, cleaning services and horticultural activities. Among its customers, in addition to domestic companies, you can find large corporations such as Hewlett Packard, Heineken, SAP, BASF, Financial Times and Merck. Outside Sofia, they have a regional office in the country.

“With the acquisitions of 2021 and 2022, our company has clearly stepped up another level. There is an on-going process of integrating the experience, expertise and employees of the companies taken over into our firm. With this step, we will become an unavoidable player also in the Bulgarian market. The advantages offered by the size of our company and our extensive service portfolio are recognised by our customers as well. The benefits of our synergies and the resulting cost-efficiency measures are present in each market. We are planning further expansion” – said Ferenc Kis-Szölgyémi, CEO of the company.
